The equipment has been already delivered to the Anti-Covid Centre of L’Ospedale del Mare in Napoli

Rome 23rd of March – ZTE takes the field to help Italy in the Covid-19 emergency and does it through the purchase and the donation of 5 ventilators for intensive care.

The multinational telecommunications company, active in Italy through 14 offices located from the north to the south of the country, has sent the special equipment to the Civil Protection through a cargo flight from China to Milan Malpensa. Afterward, the Government Department assigned the shipment to the new Covid-19 Centre of the Campania Region, located at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples.

The 5 ventilators are model VG70 manufactured in Beijing by Beijing Aenomed Co.LTD, a leading company in research and development and in the production of breathing devices. Moreover, they comply with all the certifications of the European Union.

“To fight against the virus, the full cooperation and joint efforts from everybody are important. We understand the extremely emergency situation here in Italy and the time is key, as an enterprise citizen, ZTE wants to do our best to contribute a bit to this emergency epidemic management, therefore we make those respirators arrives in Naples and already in operation in shortest time.  We are also continuing to make our efforts to provide the support on any essential Telecommunication need” said Hu Kun, CEO of ZTE Italia and President of Western Europe.
